With direct supervision and support, the Inside Sales Specialist I is responsible for achieving the individual assigned pharmacy sales goals to add incremental value to ANDA’s AOP and market share. The incumbent will use consultative selling techniques to increase business with existing customers on outbound and inbound telephone calls for the purpose of selling ANDA products that include, but are not limited to vaccine, medical surgical products, surgical supplies, generic items, brand items and consumer products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws. Achieves/exceeds established daily and monthly productivity goals for phone time, call count and revenue, with an emphasis on growing and retaining existing customer base through cold calling and prospecting. Places outbound telephone calls to and from independent Pharmacies , in an effort to promote and sell ANDA products, establish buying cycle, fill customer needs and create strong relationships. Delivers differentiated value to customers through a growing understanding of the unique needs of customer segments and apply a sales execution model that is consultative and solution-focused. Continuously promotes ANDA’s eCommerce capabilities to increase web volume. Gathers and reports market intelligence and customer insight by asking probing questions. Maximizes customer relationship by providing solutions through programs and promotional offerings. Consistently demonstrates knowledge and expertise as it relates to industry standards and the growing marketplace changes. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum experience or requirements: Position Requirements Education Required: High School diploma with two (2) to four (4) years of related experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred with zero (0) to two (2) years of experience, preferably in the pharmaceuticals, cosmetics or food industry; or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Experience Required: Minimum two (2) years of sales and/or marketing experience. Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications needed: Demonstrates complete understanding of internal systems that include, but are not limited to Remedy (CMR), and TPS. Functional Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Company/Industry Related Knowledge: Pharmaceutical experience preferred.
