The Delaware State Police is a highly respected full service police agency currently seeking motivated individuals who want to make an impact in someone's life or their community.
Troopers are responsible for patrolling the State's highways and roadways in search of traffic violations, as well as investigating traffic crashes. Troopers are also responsible for responding to calls for service from the public.
Minimum Qualifications Include: US Citizen; 21-39 years of age; Possess 60 college credits or have 30 college credits with at least 2 years of military service or 2 years as a Delaware certified police officer or out of state Trooper; No felony conduct; Good driving record and Be physically fit.
Salary and Benefits Include: Starting salary of over $55,000 ($47,000 during training); Deferred compensation plan; 20 Year pension; 6 weeks paid vacation; 12 Hour rotating day/night shift and Paid VA benefits for military during training.
