Job Description

Knoah Solutions is in search of an experienced HR Generalist who will be responsible for applying business knowledge and human resources expertise. He or she will assist in providing a wide range of HR support and advice. The successful candidate will play a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on full employee life cycle, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, terminations, and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and management.

  • Implement and administer employee policies
  • Be available to answer employee questions and address employee concerns; including employee safety, welfare, wellness and health 
  • Provide high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management issues
  • Partner with Business heads to provide insights to workplace challenges and concerns on a continual basis
  • Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience
  • Identify ways to improve policies and procedures
  • Document concerns and challenges pertaining to individual performance challenges and participate by initiating performance improvement programs (PIP)
  • Prepare termination and severance letters
  • Proactively assess and analyze reasons for attrition at workplace
  • Focus and reinforce reasons that enable associate retention and identify challenges that inhibit
  • Conduct exit interviews and maintain employee records
  • Maintain attrition reports
  • Train and provide support to HR team members
  • Represent company in community and recruiting events

Minimum experience or requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • 3+ years’ experience in HR
  • Expertise in HR policies and procedures including Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
  • Strong knowledge of hiring processes and employee relations
  • Understanding of HR best practices and employment laws and best practices
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
  • Model the “Knoahtude” and maintain confidentially
  • Familiarity with MS Office products including Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to foster positive employee relations and reinforcement of Knoah’s employee coaching approach

Education / Certification

  • BA in Human Resources preferred
  • SHRM or other HR related certifications and training preferred
  • Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organization planning & development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations is preferred
