The position of Housekeeper is to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of customers' residences.
Specific duties include but are not limited to cleaning and dusting household living spaces, mopping and vacuuming, emptying trash, washing dishes, cleaning bathroom fixtures, making beds, replenishing linens, doing laundry and ironing and folding.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration and fumes. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. No travel is expected for this position.
Changing location to get to another building might be required during working hours. Traveling may include walking, taking public transportation, taking a cab, Uber, Lyft (cost of travel from one building to another during working hours is paid by The Company).
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of two years of housekeeping experience (hotel and/or home), required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
