IT Technician Level 3
the Technician will be a key part of the existing core team, supporting both the Platform Testing Services and the Design-In Tools Store Group.


SOW Tech3
Independently triage simple customer issue and document it with all required information
Edit and maintain test procedures and documentation and suggest improvements
Collaborate with Engineering Team on new test procedures and methodologies
Execute tasks with minimal supervision

SOW Tech4

Independently triage a complex customer issue and document it with all required information
Isolate and provide solutions for customer issues/ system failures
Technical proficiency to isolate issue to platform, BIOS, OS, driver or application
Work independently and demonstrate initiative to complete assigned tasks

Benchmarking Networking Background

Test preproduction platforms (both SW and HW)
Troubleshoot computer HW issues
Troubleshoot computer OS/SW issues
Find solutions by researching web, forums etc.
Work with engineers as part of a team to come up with demo solutions
Interacting with customers
Documenting status
Driving issue resolution


Minimum experience or requirements: 

Operating System Experience

IT Configuration

Gamers (as a hobby this would be great)

Thermal / Electrical

Mechanical skills

Great dexterity needed


BIOS (will need to update)

Attention to detail is key (must be organized and have strong data integrity)

MS Certs. Would be a HUGE bonus and is highly preferred


3+ years professional experience in a lab environment
2+ years technical proficiency in either BIOS, OS, driver or applications
