Job Description

The Associate Pharmacy Care Coordinator will be part of a call center team responsible for direct communication with team members, patients and health care providers to ensure prompt processing and delivery of prescriptions. The Associate Pharmacy Care Coordinator will need to manage both people and processes ensuring that service levels are achieved and internal as well as external customer expectations are not only met, but surpassed on a consistent basis. This position requires superior customer service skills, exemplary communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Minimum experience or requirements: High school education / GED (or higher)

  • 6+ months customer service experience
  • Availability for an 8 - hour shift between 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, rotating Saturdays
  • Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system application (including sending documents in Microsoft Outlook and creating documents in Microsoft Word)
  • Pharmacy Technician licensing and registration in Arizona, or ability to register for trainee license prior to start of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of pharmacy related experience (includes retail pharmacy experience)
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Bilingual is a plus
