Detailed Description

Employees will sell personal insurance policies such as Auto, Home and Life and will work as a Licensed Agent with access to nearly 2 million AAA members across the Carolinas. Once the Agent’s book of business has grown to a substantial incoming revenue stream, over the course of 2 – 5 years, the Agent will transition to ownership without having to invest their own capital, or go through the initial stresses of setting up an insurance agency!

  • Take advantage of no geographic constraints in the Carolinas at this time
  • AAA Insurance Sales Agent Employee earn on average $50k - $100k+ a year
  • AAA Insurance Agency Owners earn in excess of $12,000 agency monthly commissions once transitioning to an Agency Owner with no limit on earnings

Essential Responsibilities

  • Prospect AAA leads and close Insurance sales
  • Sell various types of personal lines of insurance such as Auto, Home and Life while developing synergy with other AAA businesses to succeed as a team.
  • Manage the entire sales process to ensure proper product and service delivery
  • Interact with policyholders to explain coverage, suggest additions or changes, and review portfolio in detail.
  • Dedication to delivering a superior customer service experience while developing new business relationships and maintaining current AAA relationships     

Required Qualifications 

  • Proven Professional Sales Experience Required or Recent College Graduate with a Degree in an Applicable Major
  • Primary Career Goal is to operate your own AAA Insurance Agency within 2 – 5 years Required
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday 8:30am – 6pm, with rotating Saturdays from 10am – 4pm Required 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Personal Lines including Auto, Home, and Life
  • Currently licensed for Property & Casualty Insurance
  • Holding or pursuing professional insurance designations (AINS, CIC, CPCU, or other)

Legal Background Qualifications 

  • Credit report with no open bankruptcies or showing delinquent debt over $50,000.
  • No felony convictions within the past seven years
