Description of Company: Our client is a leading developer and manager of affordable housing communities around the Bay Area. 

Position Overview: Our client is looking for an experienced Property Manager to oversee operations for their San Francisco property.

The Property Manager will be responsible for the day- to- day management of the property including maintenance and upkeep, administrative tasks, and adhering to rules and regulations while maintaining positive resident relations. The Property Manager will also be responsible for collecting rent, serving late notices, and keeping inventory of office supplies.  In addition, the Property Manager will ensure proper annual resident re-certification procedures, conduct property inspections, and supervise maintenance/office staff.

Additional responsibilities of the Property Manager include:


  • Advertise vacancies and interview potential residents 
  • Coordinate resident association meetings and resident activities 
  • Collect rent and serve late notices if necessary 
  • Ensure proper annual resident re-certification procedure 
  • Maintain office filing system 
  • Keep inventory of office and maintenance supplies 
  • Supervise maintenance and office staff 
  • Supervise work of contractors and vendors 
  • Conduct regular inspections of common areas 
  • Perform maintenance and janitorial tasks as needed 


  • Experience in low income or affordable housing property management 
  • HUD and tax credit experience preferred
  • 3-4+ years experience in affordable housing residential real estate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Great organizational skills and attention to detail

HUD and tax credit experience preferred
