We have openings in the following cities: Wellington, Winfield, Kingman, El Dorado and Wichita. 

 

Job Description Summary:

Provides support to Agency staff in promoting the well being of children referred to the agency to assure the safe transportation of youth.  These are part time positions.  

In This Opportunity You Will Get To:

  • Serves as a transporter for the Agency’s assigned youth.
  • Takes direction from Intake staff for the pick up and delivery of children authorized for transportation services.
  • Promotes the safety of the child during the transportation process.
  • Prepares logs as required by the Utilization Review/Transportation Supervisor.
  • Will be required to drive personal or agency vehicle while transporting children or conducting agency business. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must meet agency underwriting standards while driving agency vehicles and/or transporting clients.
  • Advocates, promotes and practices cultural sensitivity and responsiveness in all day-to-day interactions.
  • Develops, promotes and practices teamwork in all activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED required

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.
