  • Provides security services for a safe environment for employees and visitors
  • Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative
  • Exhibits a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with customers staff and managers
  • Works with the public who visit centers by Greeting customers/guest
  • Secures in-office premises and personnel by patrolling office space, inspects rooms and equipment
  • Adheres to company service and operating standards
  • Ensures smooth foot traffic flow by directing customers to appropriate areas and identify any irregularities
  • Removes disruptive customers and/or be a point of contact for 911, police, and/or emergency
  • Challenge unauthorized visitors and escort them to appropriate exits, rooms or classes
  • Enforces order and regulations for the facility
  • Immediately responds to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks
  • May assist with support of front desk
  • Protect the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues
  • Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control and accident investigations
  • Responds to manager and/or employee requests to intervene with difficult personnel/customers
  • Maintains safety by walking halls and observing behavior of others
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Work and Education Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • 18+ years of age
  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures
  • Corporate security experience and license
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports to business leaders, managers and staff.   Ability to speak effectively before managers, staff and customers. 

MATHEMATICAL AND REASONING SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to apply knowledge of current research and theory in specific field.  Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, businesses and community.  Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form.  Ability to perform duties with awareness and in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
