JOB TITLE: SALES REPRESENATIVE

FULL TIME/PART TIME: FULL TIME/ PART TIME

COMPENSATION: $16-11/HR + MONTHLY INCENTIVE

REPORTS TO: SALES SUPERVISOR

WORK LOCATION: REMOTE WORK


 

JOB PURPOSE:

The Sales Representatives will grow the business by professionally representing Eckler’s to our customers with expert product and industry knowledge. They will provide all our customers a one stop solution for all product needs. They will have a clear understanding of business practices, and will be a key contributor to the success of our call center and company. The ideal candidate will develop, nurture, and maintain favorable relationships with new and existing customers over the phone. Sales Representative will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives including Sales Volume improvement, Gross Profit Attainment & Gross Profit per Call.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Some or all of the below duties may apply in varying degrees to the specific open position. Associate will cross train and/or work in any function within warehouse as needed to meet business demands.

  • Promotes Eckler’s brand to existing and prospective customers by providing an engaging sales experience.
  • Meet or exceed financial sales and profit goals including Sales Volume and Gross Profit improvement.
  • Provides expert knowledge to assist customers in the selection and purchase of products that meet their specified requirements.
  • Responsible for the accurate conveying of information pertaining to the products and services of our company either in person, by phone, email, fax or any other communication device. Advanced knowledge of product and applications allows for predictive trouble shooting, i.e. asking and answering questions the customer may not know, as well as project selling.
  • Establishing new customer data bases and the verification of current customer accounts. Processing of new order requests and providing assistance on prior order history.
  • Is leader among peers, is able to work cohesively in a team environment while accurately and efficiently assisting customers with their automotive needs.
  • Performs advanced selling activities and possess advanced customer negotiation skills. Is considered expert of selling concepts, including add on selling, up selling, and project sales.
  • Works under minimal supervision to achieve or exceed financial targets.
  • Build a viable customer base for reoccurring business to manage long term
  • Meet and exceed sales and performance objectives on a consistent basis
  • Provide quotes deliveries dates and payment terms to prospective customers

 

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Highly driven, self-motivated sales professional skilled at acquiring new customers
  • 2+ years automotive industry experience required. Qualifying automotive experience can be in parts, sales, service and/or hobby/enthusiasts.
  • Above average knowledge of classic restoration of our product line is highly preferred.
  • 1+ years related work experience in a business to business sales environment required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with internal and external partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, Outlook (Email), and other computer based programs.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy, consistency and quality in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision with a heavy emphasis on teamwork
  • Skill in demonstrating a professional, consultative, and influencing phone manner

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to sit for long periods at a time. Able to work infront of and on multiple comupter monitors during shift. Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for long periods of time as well if the demanded it. (The Lockport location requires an associate to be able to walk up and down flights of stairs). Must be able to read and write simple statements. Able to analyze, memorize, and conduct and comprehend simple mathematical tasks. Be able to make decisions and have sound judgment.

TRAINING:

Will be in a class room setting for roughly a full week. Following that it can look like nesting experiences and other methods to give examples of the job. Training does build on the previous day so perfect attendace is required in order to obtain all knowledge and skill sets to achieve the highest quality of performance.
