Position Purpose:
A dynamic individual that will actively recruit for common and open positions in the company.  The position will require you to establish relationships and seek out top talent in each branch location to bring on the best individuals in the industry.  Establish relationships with hiring managers to understand position requirements and what we want in prospective candidates and liaison between the applicants and hiring managers.  Excellent communication with candidates from the start of the process through the onboarding process.  Administration of company insurance, retirement, leaves, and wellness programs. Ensuring the company is compliant and meeting deadlines.  Communication with outside vendors who assist with our benefit programs and being the liaison with outside companies and employees.
 
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Source candidates using a variety of methods to build a robust candidate pipeline for exempt and nonexempt employees.
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications and performing phone screenings.
  • Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing job descriptions, and position requirements.
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
  • Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws.
  • Assists human resources and hiring managers in preparing pre-employment forms such as requisitions, job descriptions and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Prepares and post job openings through our Applicant Tracking System and other job posting sites.
 
Qualifications:
 
  • 4+ years’ experience in a recruiting position
  • Linked in Recruiter experience is required
  • A “can do” attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Professional, discreet and confidential demeanor
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized
  • Fluency in MS Office – especially Excel
  • Fastidious attention to detail
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment

  • Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required
  • Successfully passing a pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • Traveling required 5-10% (Mostly in Ohio)
 
Working Conditions:
 
This will be a typical office work environment, which is usually quiet. Required to operate a personal computer, printer and scanner, telephone, etc.
