Job Description
Fire systems technicians are responsible for inspecting and servicing fire alarms, suppression systems and sprinklers. It is preferable for applicants to have experience and Ohio fire licenses in one or all of these areas.

Minimum Job Requirements
· Technical and mechanical knowledge, aptitude, and interest
· Successfully passing state certification exams in expected time frames
· A desire to learn and master new fire systems
· Excellent communications skills
· Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
· High school diploma or GED with 2 years mechanical or electrical experience or technical training
· Valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report
· Ability to lift heavy items periodically
· Successfully passing a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Compensation is commensurate based on experience. Silco has annual compensation raises and bonuses based on merit.
