Job Description


Partner with our students/graduates to parlay their education into a viable career. In doing so, the position serves as a student/graduate placement resource, responsible for getting the students ready for life after graduation. A CSR will assist with resume preparation, interviewing skills, leveraging the student/graduate’s social media presence, and helping them connect with hiring managers, while delivering a “Student & Industry First” experience. The position is also responsible for building the Coder Camps/WOZ U brands with our existing and new industry partners on a local and national level. The CSR and team will conduct student trainings and workshops to increase placement rates, as well as collaborate with the education team to lead, manage and facilitate the Online Student-Residency Program


  • Communicate regularly with students about their career search and planning.
  • Effectively communicate through face-to-face and virtual interaction with students and industry representatives.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for student resumes, interviewing skills, networking, and leveraging their social media presence.
  • Build the Coder Camps/WOZ U brands and continue to grow pipeline of employers on a local and national level.
  • Conduct student trainings and workshops to increase placement rates.
  • Work with the Career Services and Education team to lead, manage and facilitate the Online Student-Residency Program
  • Exceed placement goals for graduated students.
  • Record data for all student touch points including communications, placement details, etc.
  • Ensure all graduate and employer surveys are sent/received in a timely manner
  • Provide accurate reporting for career services metrics.
  • Any additional responsibilities as needed.

Education and/or Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a minimum of an associate’s degree.
  • Prior experience in the technology field, programming/developing, and/or recruiting industry.
  • Passionate about technology, education, and service.

Computer Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Strong knowledge of social media/branding: LinkedIn, GitHub, Twitter, etc.

Writing and Communication Skills: Ability to succinctly and clearly communicate, both verbally and in writing, as well as present to small/large audiences in a face-to-face and virtual environment.
