Job Description

  • Ensure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
  • Prospecting and developing relationships with event planners, destination managers, hotel catering managers, venue managers, event coordinators
  • Maintaining and nurturing current client relationships in person, on the road and on the phone
  • Following up on inquiries and pursuing leads
  • Meet clients in person and over the phone to understand needs and propose our services
  • Write winning proposals that close sales
  • Actively participate at industry networking events, shows, openings
  • Maintain meticulous records for reference and reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned by the DOS and Sales Managers.

Minimum experience or requirements:

  • Sales experience in the event, catering, hospitality or related business.
  • Motivation to find opportunities and contacts at all times
  • Ability to write compelling and grammatically correct proposals
  • Excellent verbal skills
  • Knowledge of basic spreadsheet and word processing applications
