As a recent graduate from the University of New Haven, I believe that my academic background and training have prepared me perfectly for the road ahead. While an undergraduate student at Western New England University, I had the opportunity to participate in many activities including research, group work, and more that will undoubtedly contribute to my success in this role. More specifically, I have participated in industrial-organizational psychology research focusing on the issue of work-life balance programs available to employees in various organizations regarding which programs were deemed more favorable. Also, while completing my undergraduate education, I had the pleasure of taking human resource management and social psychology classes. My previous work experience involves my participation as a Human Resources Intern with a graphic design company, which helped me to obtain first-hand knowledge of human resource management processes. Through my experience in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology Master’s program at the University of New Haven, I have furthered my knowledge of various psychological theories and have learned more about essential strategies for conflict management, leadership, organizational development, and more. Through my course load at the University of New Haven and my experience as a Human Resources Intern for The Human Resource Consulting Group, LLC, I believe I have developed a solid foundation in the field of human resource management and business consulting.
